                 BEFORE YOU DIVE IN!!!

If you're interested in finding out a little bit about the maps contained in these folders, I suggest you browse the comments in the Read Me files found below. These comments are from the Marathon Hyperarchive Northwest, which is maintained by Claude Errera. Claude has kindly allowed us to put the comments he's written about these maps on our CD.

A couple of things to remember though.

1.	You might not agree with Claude's comments, but that's all right. Everyone has different tastes when playing Marathon - some people like the large maps where tactics and team work are the key. Others like the stand-out-in-the-open-and-SPNK- each-other-until-everyone-is-just-a-small-puddle-at-the-base-of-the-far-wall game. I recommend you try the maps yourselves and see what you think.
2.	Not all the maps on this CD are mentioned in the Read Me's. Likewise some of the maps Claude reviews are not on this CD. The reasons for this are long and varied, so I won't bore you with the details. However, if you have any maps which aren't on this CD, please feel free to send them to me for inclusion on the next CD compilation.
3.	There is no number 3, remember?
4. Um, one more thing - you can get Claude's updated info on all these maps and many more at:
